Shukla Bose and Anuradha represented Parikrma and presented a research paper on the Parikrma Model at one of the world’s largest education conference, EDUlearn 18 in Mallorca. “We attended the 10th Annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies held at Palma de Mallorca, Spain on the 2nd to 4th of July 2018. We had written a paper called Overcoming Barriers to Learning the Parikrma Way which outlined the 360 degree and E to E model that Parikrma has been following the last 15 years and the impact it has had on students' learning and the community in general. Edulearn18 is one of the largest Education conferences in Europe and it was an honour to be able to present our paper to all the educators and technocrats present. The main aim of Edulearn is to promote and disseminate experience and innovations and Research in all educational fields and disciplines. The conference included pedagogical innovations, emerging learning/teaching technologies, research in education, and university-industry collaborations. Our paper was very well received and there was great curiosity to know more about our operations. There were 900 delegates from 140 different countries. We were in the session called Cultural Diversity and Inclusion. The keynote address was given by Prof Eric Mazur from Harvard University,” explains founder, Shukla Bose.
Our student Chaithra is written about in the local newspaper as a new discovery in the film world. She will be sharing screen space with the eminent artist Ravinchandran. We take credit in discovering her acting talent when she was 10 years old at school and got her to act in all our school plays. She then graduated and did her engineering in Biotechnology with First Class Distinction. But her passion has always been acting and we know she has a bright future. All the teachers have vowed to go and watch both her films when they are released.
